Diagnostic tests for EEG Biofeedback: EEG and QEEG
In addition to the standard diagnostic examination, we can perform digital quantitative analysis of the brain waves (QEEG/mapping) with analysis and evaluation of the recording. QEEG allows to detect, locate and analyse structural and functional changes in the brain which are often undetectable in a traditional examination. Some studies have shown that when QEEG diagnostics is used before EEG Biofeedback therapy, the amount of training necessary to obtain the therapeutic effect is reduced by 50%. We have a 15 year experience in performing QEEG.
We also perform EEG at our laboratory (no referral is required). The EEG examination consists in the registration and evaluation of the brain wave function, and it is useful in medical diagnostics, and in particular in neurology, psychiatry and EEG Biofeedback therapy.
An EEG examination should be performed in the following cases:
- emotional problems
- speech impediments
- epilepsy attacks
- headache and dizziness
- uneasy sleep
- after head injury, cerebral stroke, brain concussion
We have a 30 year experience in performing EEG.
We use the latest methods for brain wave diagnostics and therapy, conforming to the international guidelines and standards. As members of the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), we use the therapeutic and ethical standards recommended by the Association. Moreover, our Laboratory has been licensed by the Polish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (Polskie Towarzystwo Neurofizjologii Klinicznej – PTNK).
